Neopets and My kid's teacher

Wednesday, March 29, 2006
Neopets is doing a new plot. So yesterday I was getting up to speed. GTH is also up-to-date on his account also.

GTH's teacher decided to take the kids to see some kind of play.(This is after the circus they went to next week.) The thing is that she doesn't send any type of note home. Just tells the kids and then the kids tell their parents. A note would be nice. Tell me where you are going , what play you are going to see, how much and when you want the money, and when you plan on being back. I know others kids are responsible, but mine is not. And what if it is something I do not want my kids to see.
They like to take kids out on field trips alot here in Germany. In fact they get to have my kid more than I do. I can only do so much with him, because he is in school or doing homework or out at some class(ping pong or turnen) or out playing with his friends. I really want my kid back.

Dreams

Monday night my husband told me that his company might be merging with another(a French company) and what hubby does the other company already has a dept for that so we might be moving in a year or two.
I seems that this part is in Italy.
So I preceded to have dream that night that we moved to Italy and that I could homeschool. I sleep quite well that night.
I have found a hs board.
I think it is possible because the kids are all American citizens.
I will never happen, but we will probaly end up in Heidelberg.

We're moving along well

Thursday, March 23, 2006
Last night and this morning were not that bad.
It is fun to see what the end result will be when the two small ones get to sleep. GTS did not want to stay in bed. By the time GTS and GKS were asleep, GTS was in the above bunk with GKS. Had to have hubby bring him down. It is to high to do it myself.
GTH and I got through Hinduism and Budhuism in his second grade book. I am going to look at 5th grade curriculms today. I, also, need to work on the Illinois book with him today. We are using the Highlights Which Way series. God bless me with being able to find and purchase this one from the used bookstore in Hedielberg.

This morning went really great. All the kids were up. I had items printed out from Aish to give them to color while I read from the Torah portion.(Ex 35 and 36) We will read the next two chapters. I think I will look up some puzzles for Shabbat for GTH.

GTH is to school now. GKS and GTS are watch Sesamstrasse. It is about plants today.

Today's List for Blogging

Wednesday, March 22, 2006

Post I would like to do on the next few days.
Claude Allen
Kosher
Preparing for the Feast of Unleaven Bread

As of right now, I did music with the small one. I final got out those instruments I bought before Christmas and let the two of the bang and shake there way to sleep.
I still need to empty the dishwasher. Print out some letter K things.
GTH put his homework in his book and is working on it right now.
I got to dust yesterday and hubby cleaned all the prints and smudges of the TV.(Does anyone know the best way to clean a flat screen?)
the desk is a mess. And I have a few emails to get out.
Nice relaxed day here.

Last few days not bad.

Tuesday, March 21, 2006
Yesterday, GTH was home in the morning. The teacher decided no school since they were going to the circus.
I found this out Friday. I knew they were going to the circus, but I did not know that it would be in the afternoon. One thing about the states is they ask for your permission for every trip. You get written what it will cost, where they are going, and when.
He they believe that a 9/10 yo should be responsible for informing their parents. In the States, we know that some teenages are not good at this.
So at the last minute I am told that I will not have my child in the afternoon. That I have to bring him along with all my errands instead of changing my schedule(it was to late to change anything Friday). If i would have know a week ago, I could have made other plans. But i can not do it last minute.

But the day went well, I think we all enjoyed ourselves. GTH got to go to the Turnen(gymnaistics) class for the little ones.

GTH and I started the Geography section of "What your 2nd Grader Should Know."
Hopefully we can get some more in tonight and he can go over his "Horse and His Boy" quiz. Chapter 5 did not come out so good.

Dinner out

Thursday, March 16, 2006
Yesterday, did go that well, but it is my own fault.
I put off cleaning the house and then my hubby calls and says they might come to the house.(I knew they might.)
So I spend all my time getting the house ready.(They never did come over.)
I forgot to pack toys, so the kids were rowdy.
The only problem with going out with my hubby collegues is they talk mostly about work. They try to include me, but I think they see a lady who is only interested in changing diapers.
I have to do something.

Well, I need to get more done today.
I need to fill the washer.
Change my sheets. Prepare for GTH to change his sheets tomorrow.
The bedrooms need to be clean.
I need to find a Tupperward Lady. They have these real nice Spongebob sandwich holders.
I need to go to Kik to buy some kids clothes.
Gregory need to work on his Illinois book this afternoon and "the Horse and His Boy" this evening.

Rough weekend

Wednesday, March 15, 2006
It was rough for me.
I was crying for a day and a half. I think it is a mixture of stress and PostMS.
The latter is something new for me.

I decide to just change my attidude.
I decided to be thankful and grateful. And to pile coals of fire on someones head.
Hopeful it would warm them up.

Last night was nice.
I got through the grammer part of "What Your Second Grader Should Know" with GTH.
Yes he is behind, but we are moving quickly. He has read the Greed gods and the American Tall Tales. Tonight we are going out to dinner so we will do nothing tonight.
We are up to chapter 4 of the quiz for "A Horse and His Boy".

GTS knows the letter "E" now.
This will help when we are on the elevator.
Here in Europe they have the ground floor(Edre). Then the next floor is the first floor.
Our next letter will be "K".
This is the basement/celler(keller).

Day 3

Friday, March 10, 2006
This is a record.
I even took a shower today.
I am going to try to follow the fly lady.
She say to get dress with your shoes everyday. Well we don't we shoes, but I am dress to my houseshoes.
We are working on the kicten this week.
Boy does it need it.

GTS is up, dressed and now eating his banana.
I should have gotten GKS up, but I think it is to late now.
I'll just let her sleep and not give her a nap this afternoon.

THe house is still clean.
We went out for Greek food for dinner.
The two smaller one where roudy until there food came.
They both scarfed the food down. It is the first time they both ate what was put in front of them. I sat eat quite happly.

We go some news from the kindergarden we use for the NICE(English) club.
it seems they want to have it till 4:30. That mean we need to start later or get a new place. I am not looking forward to coming home an hour later. Today I got home at 6:30. My husband was already here. This is fine if the house is clean. But getting home at 7:30? my kids would be starving by then. I would have to eat out. Not that big a deal, but where would that leave my husband. And it would not work when we need to go to Heidelberg. I guess I have some thinking to do.

Second day in a row

This is a mile stone.
The day went pretty well.
My son(GTH) and I read this morning. He ate and drank, but did not take anything with him.
I got the kids up and dress and we were out by 9:30 to pick up the plane tickets, but they need the address where GTH is going have to go back tomorrow. We got pretzels and meat for the evening. I did gravy for the meatballs and only had to heat up the meatballs by the time GTH got home from school. We prayed before eating. GTH has a split day so he has to go back at 1. After eating i put the kids in for a nap and headed out to Lidl for batterries. Made it back in more than enough time. The house looks pretty neat.
Oh, we also got in one of those ernie phone in from ebay. The two little ones are fighting over it. Hubby wants to know why ididn't get 2.

Ok, I'm back again

Thursday, March 09, 2006
I am really going to try to post everyday.
Yesterday, was a good day.
The apartment is pretty clean.
Just the floors need to be washed.
But the laundry is piling up.
And I have to do sheets. I don't think there is enough space in the drying room for all my stuff.
Today I need to pick up the plane tickets for my son. He will be visiting his father for the Easter vacation for two weeks.
I also have to go get milk, toast and batteries. We have no place to play music in the house. I guess I can do that when my son comes home for his break.
I got some great info on homeschooling yesterday also.
Lots of conventions coming up. Looking into getting some tapes. I also want to contact the Heidelberg homeschoolers.
